A friend has lent me her new camera to use for a bit and I am giving it a test drive. It is a Fijifilm Finepix HS10. It is a nice camera with a 30x zoom which, with image stabilisation does a really good job. From here I was able to manually zoom in on the rock and exclude all else- at the level of zoom it had lost some of the clarity but not a lot.

It has some clever features that I hadn’t seen before- to change to viewing through the viewfinder you just put your eye up to it and it knows you’re not looking at the LCD monitor- I spent a good five minutes working that one out.
