Today was Lead Teacher Day. The day was going swimmingly with 35 eager beavers until it came to the workshop part of the day where people were setting up RSS feeds through Google Reader in order to develop a community around their blogs and wikis.

And you know what? There was no internet. Me and this fish felt pretty much the same way! Glum at being trapped in a glass cage of wanting to explore the world but trapped.

I stopped on the way home to have a bought coffee and this fella kept me company while I sipped.

So much for ubiquitous internet- we are a long way away from that just yet 😦

  1. Perfect picture for a glum situation. There will always be a good outcome in the long run. If he was out in the world, he might get eaten. And now we have to find a robust solution to your internet woes.

  2. Wow! I’m impressed! Do you know how hard it is to get a great picture of a fish in a tropical tank? …maybe you do and this pic took you a few hundred pics to master?!!! It must be the new app…. πŸ˜‰
