This is the last of the Lake Rotoiti series that I took this week.
Beware- if you ever decide to go to the lake- EVERY time I go there I always see the most massive eels lurking under the jetty. They are HUGE and looking to gobble you up.
As a kid I swam out to the jetty once and happened to look down into the clear water. I had a panic attack when I saw the creatures that lived beneath me. I have never swum in the lake again!
crikey – you could sell that one π
This is my new favourite “Allanah Pic”…..simply stunning!
I agree. Very stunning. Now I definitely want to go and see the eels. Spectacular colours enhanced by the frame of the blog.
Wow, this is a stunning photo. I wish I had closer access to such natural beauty to include in my 365 blog. I guess I better get back to New Zealand. π
